5 useful tips for the perfect Father's Day gift

1 January 1970

...and let me tell you, this is gonna go straight to the dad-heart. Because that’s the type of gift a photo book is. Though we might be a teeny-tiny bit biased, there’s honestly no better way to tell your dad or partner how much you and your kids love them (and appreciate all those little things they do) than by showing it in a book you made with love.

So, here are some ideas to get started:

1

Sometimes the title is the most difficult to come up with. Father’s day titles you could use:

To my dad

Adventures with daddy

We love you, papa

The world’s best dad

My superhero dad

There’s no one like you, gramps

Grandpa is my favourite

Gramps and his favs

2

Use your phone’s face recognition

Use your phone’s face recognition feature to quickly add all photos of the person into an album. That makes it super easy to pick out your favourite photos for the photo book.

3

Take a photo of a drawing

Take a photo of a drawing your kid made of their dad (or maybe you have an old one you made when you were little?) and add it to the photo album. We all know how easily a drawing gets lost – this way you’ll know exactly where it is.

Make a page in the book where your kids (or you) answer these questions:

  • How much do I love dad?
  • What do I love most about my dad?
  • What is my favorite thing to do with dad?
  • When do I think my dad is funny?
  • If dad had a superpower what would it be and why?
  • If dad were a princess, who would he be?

DON’T make it perfect!

Just put together something that’s YOU. The person you give the book to won’t worry about the right light in the photos, the correct grammar or the most creative layout – they will love it no matter what, so don’t stress about it.

So, it’s time to go be the best – daughter, wife, partner, son – that you can possibly be to that wonderful father figure of yours. He deserves it. Every day of the week. And you know it.
