Grounded and quietly confident, Weronika reflects on a year shaped by motherhood and presence. She shares how small, unseen moments brought unexpected joy, how yoga remains her grounding ritual, and how staying true to her style helps her honor her identity in everyday life.
This year in unseen moments: what’s one small, ordinary thing that brought you unexpected joy but never made it to Instagram?
On Instagram, I mainly share my style and fashion inspiration, so many deeply joyful moments stay just for me. Since becoming a mom last August, those moments have multiplied every day. It’s hard to choose just one, because even the most ordinary moments have taken on a new meaning. But I will never forget my daughter’s first spontaneous, conscious smile. That moment and the feeling that came with it will stay with me forever. Since then, every smile melts my heart and brings joy into even the simplest day.
Your style feels effortless and intentional. Was there an outfit or piece you wore on a completely ordinary day that made you feel especially like yourself?
Since becoming a mom, I’ve actually found joy in overdressing, even for the most ordinary days. It helps me feel like myself, and now, while I’m on maternity leave, it feels so fun. I love wearing a statement fur coat and a carefully styled outfit for simple coffee dates, often matching with my baby girl. Those small rituals of getting dressed remind me that style is still a part of who I am.

As someone who curates visuals for a living, what’s a photo on your camera roll — unedited and unshared — that tells a true story of your year?
This past year was entirely shaped by my journey into motherhood. I found out I was pregnant on December 31, 2024 and from that moment on, everything shifted. My pregnancy was deeply positive. I felt strong, calm, present, and confident, watching my body change felt natural and grounding. I trusted my intuition fully, without stress or pressure. That’s why the image I would choose is a simple photo of me and my pregnant belly. It represents the moment I truly understood what a woman's body is incredible.
What’s a quiet personal win from this year that people wouldn’t know about unless you told them?
Staying me while becoming a mom. Every story of motherhood is different, but for me it was important to remain present for my daughter while also continuing to care for myself. I’m proud that I found a balance that feels right. I love my baby deeply and I also have love for myself. This year was about learning how to build a life as a small family without losing my identity along the way.
“There’s less pressure to prove anything, and more space to simply be.”
What’s something about becoming a mum at this point in your life that you wish more women talked about?
The quiet confidence that comes with it. Becoming a mother later in life gave me a deep sense of trust - in myself, in my body, and in my decisions. There’s less pressure to prove anything and more space to simply be. I wish more women talked about how empowering and grounding that can feel.
How has this chapter of motherhood surprised you? Especially in the quiet, unfiltered moments that never make it online.
What surprised me most is how calm and natural it feels. Motherhood didn’t overwhelm me the way I had once heard it might. Instead, it slowed me down in the best possible way and taught me to be fully present without the need to document or explain everything.
You share beautifully curated snippets of your style and life online. What’s a behind-the-scenes ritual or routine that feels very you, but stays offline?
Yoga. It has been part of my life for over 15 years. I practice at home, which allows me to stay consistent no matter where I live, how much I work, or now how busy motherhood can be. I love that I can simply put my mat on the floor whenever I have a quiet moment. Yoga grounds me, brings me back into my body, calms inner stress, and helps me stay present. It’s also my way of maintaining both mental balance and physical shape.
“Yoga is my way of staying present.”
If you were to create a photo book of your year, what’s one photo that would make the cut even though it’s imperfect — and why?
A simple selfie of our small family - me, my partner, and our baby lying in bed in our pyjamas. It’s imperfect, unstyled, and completely honest. We often talk about the family we’ve become. We had a beautiful life as a couple, and now we’ve entered a new chapter - one that feels even more meaningful and exciting.
