How to make your Mother’s Day book

All mommas out there deserve the best. And they do deserve it all year round, of course. But on Mother’s Day you get a little reminder to recognize all the little (and giganormous) things they do for you, for the family and for everyone around them. So, whether this makes you think about your own mom, your partner, sister, friend or grandma, here are some Mother's Day photo book tips for them:

Filled to the brim with photos

Maybe the most obvious photo book, but yet so precious. Just fill the book with pictures of the momma in spotlight and her kids. Mix old memories with new ones, pretty moments with less pretty ones, and big celebrations with everyday life.

A recipe book

Does this special mom make the best meatballs, lasagna or apple pie? Make it easy for her to have all her best and favorite recipes in one place (and maybe make a copy for yourself too!)

Things I love about you

Fill your book with a mix of photos and answers to questions like these:

My favorite thing to do together is…
You make me laugh so much when you…
I look up to you because…
If you had a superpower, it would be…
This song reminds me of you…
Don’t forget how amazing you are at doing this…
I love when you babble about…
Here are some compliments I should tell you more often…
Something wise you told me…

A book of drawings

Take photos of her kids’ drawings and add all of them to a photo book. We all know how easily drawings get lost, but how fun they are for the mom to look back on years after they’re made – this way she’ll know exactly where they are.
